Oops, I did it again!

new fabric

new fabric pile

I don't know how this happens. It all begins so innocently. I need one fabric to finish off a project. Then I start rationalizing. Well, I'm already paying for shipping so I might as well pick up a few pieces I've had my eyes on. That makes sense, right? I'm saving on future shipping charges by buying more now. Is this an economist's dream or nightmare? Please, tell me I'm not alone.

I don't think your alone :) When I am buying yarn I always rationalize the if I buy more then it is free shipping or I use the I can afford it now so maybe a few more skeins :)

You are definitely NOT alone. I thought I had sworn off buying fabrics for the rest of the year when I did a major online spree in January. I have gone on to 4 more card-melting fabric-buys to date. I'm just SO WEAK :p Now, I'm making a baby quilt for a friend and I'm going to make the best use of my stash by cutting charm squares from 100 unique prints :)

I just ended up buying 10 yards that exact same way... fabric is my secret (well not that secret) addiction, but admitting is the first step right?
